Worship Leader, Vocalist, Team Logistics |
I live in Kampala District along the shores of lake Victoria in a suburb called Luzira. I am a daughter to Mr. Chrysostom Kibeti an educationist and Mrs. Jessica Babirye Kibeti a lead pastor of House of God Church. I am the middle child of 9 children; 2 Boys and 7 girls. We are Bagisu by tribe and originate from the Eastern part of Uganda.
My father and mother are Christians and therefore my siblings and I grew up in church. My mother became a born again Christian in 2000 and she started a church where we led worship there as little as little children and our Choir name was ‘Blood of Jesus Choir’. We would to sing, act and dance. And visit other churches to entertain.
I also became one of the worship leaders at The City Church church and I was and still am in charge of team welfare and logistics management. I also help out as a secretary on the team and make phone call in relation to the needs of the team. I also volunteered as the Pastor’s Personal Assistant where I’d assist the Lead pastor with various secretarial work like making phone calls and setting up meetings, writing meeting minutes and coordinating events as well as representing him at various gatherings. In 2017- 2019, I was appointed the Missions and internships Coordinator for Transform African Ministries. Through this Job I got the opportunity to prepare and plan for mission trips for TAM’s partners in the USA so they would be able to come and help transform our community effectively. We carried out mission trips to young people in various schools and did a youth conference, dug a borehole in a small village in Kayunga District, carried out Citiwide worship evenings at different Churches and Schools all through Kampala among many other missions and projects.
